The Moves

As you can see in the trailer above these moves are as visual as it gets. On top of teaching you these moves you will learn about the inspiration behind creating these techniques and how to apply some of these ways of thinking to your own magic. One of Danny's favorite moves in this project is the Twister R.O.P.S move which is his take on the R.O.P.S move from Michael Rubinstein. Hear what Michael had to say:

Twister! Twister! Get twisted! So much to do with this move. You’ll be busy. Work on the odd but fun rolly polly move. Still working on that one. Then, take on the autumn vanish. Mastering this will make something to behold. Enjoy this project!

I have so many of Danny’s projects, and in each one I find a little piece of gold that I use in my coin work. In Modus, the Twister Turnover is a vanish I have found great use for in a coin and ring routine I do. It looks so natural in the context of turning over a coin and can be easily routined into subsequent moves. The Autumn Vanish is also a thing of beauty.

Modus presents several very slick moves all based off of one primary and simple sleight. This was not super hard to learn or master and Danny does a fantastic job of presenting and explaining the mechanics, as he always does.
I also got a lot out of the last section of this project on How to Practice.
All in all, one of my favorite projects that Danny has done.

It's a fantastic collection of moves that are fun to learn and useful in a whole bunch of routines. I rewatch Modus to remind myself how amazing coin magic can be. All of Danny's tutorials are recorded in high resolution and include multiple angles (including OTS) so you can learn as if you were there.

Danny is passionate about the quality and impact of our magic. In this tutorial, he covers some of the neuroscience of magic, which will elevate your existing magic and give you more confidence as a performer.

A collection of sleights that are fun and can be incorporated into your routines or just learn and practice. Encompassing vanishes, productions and changes. Developing muscle memory plays a big part of your foundation and learning how to structure your practice. The importance of using your senses to see and feel the moves. Doing them slowly and smoothly and in the process develope skills, rhythmn, timing, control and dexterity. ( manipulator and move monkey)
