The DG retention is extremely fooling and very visual. Danny explains it in great detail including the use of light. With a little practice, I am 70% there. Mine looks decent, but more work to do. You will use this in many coin routines.

Hi I have many of Danny's projects but Optical got me started. It is so clean and his performance is outstanding. It does look like a gimmick or camera tricks must be involved. But, and this is the good bit, he goes on to teach it in the most complete way I have seen. It is not easy but with the tutorial and enough time you have all you need. This teaching is continued in his other projects. Outstanding.

This is my favorite tutorial of Danny's simply because I use the DG retention whenever possible. In this video you focus on this signature move. The movement of the coin, the placement of the hands, even how to use light to maximize the retention. He reinforces the power of the retention of vision effect and light manipulation through two more slights which are fun to practice in order to get them just right.

This project gives general information on performance skills, making coin magic more visual and believable. A must for all coin magicians.

I honestly wish I could give six stars. Danny Goldsmiths' projects have been essential to my growth in magic. I really appreciate his softness with coin work. An excellent teacher, his videos have been clear and full of new/fresh techniques. Also, I really enjoy the history and Theory he shares. Danny also teaches about tension and relaxation which I have found very beneficial. Thank you, Danny and you inspire me so much! I have learned so much from everything he has put out and will continue to do going forward. A forever student of DG and happy to be.

Now that I have had some time with this new material, I can honestly say, that every single item is worth the price of this project. Altogether it's a 1-hour master class on retention. the revisit to the D.G. was illuminating. I thought I was practicing the D.G., but in fact I was making it much harder than it needs to be. I can't stop practicing the Ember...thank you again Danny.
